The Prophet by Kahlil GibranIn one less familiar passage, Crime and Punishment (page 45 in my edition), I found myself reading about taking responsibility for my actions. This is the teaching we have been learning in Ho'oponopono. I was grateful how well this fit in with our course.

Pamela Marie Gembica, M.A., is a Jungian psychotherapist. A graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute, Pamela has adopted the mission statement of her alma mater as her own—Animae mundi colendae gratia, which translates, “For the sake of tending the soul of the world.”
Currently, Pamela trains with Buddhist psychologist Jack Kornfield and Dan Siegel, a neuropsychologist. She also participates in Jungian video seminars from the C. G. Jung Institute of Psychology of Zurich, Switzerland through the Asheville Jung Center in Asheville, North Carolina, as well as Pacifica Graduate Institute in California.
To her great joy, in 2007, Pamela came upon the ancient Hawaiian forgiveness process, Ho’oponopono. Her understanding at that time—that the recitation of certain statements of love, of asking forgiveness, and of gratitude could bring about soul resolution—was greatly enhanced through her study of the work of psychiatrist, Dr. Hew Len and his interpretation of and elaboration upon Ho’oponopono. Pamela began in earnest to practice it in her personal life and with her clients.
David Christopher Lewis is a gifted clairaudient, an Aquarian spiritual author and talented musical composer. He is co-founder of The Hearts Center Community and Meru University. His mission is to share the ascended masters’ teachings and their practical, sometimes startling, progressive revelations for personal awakening and Self-Realization.
Born in the Chicago area, David was the sixth of ten children. At the age of 14, he embraced the concepts of karma and reincarnation after reading Edgar Cayce’s The Sleeping Prophet. He has studied the world’s major religions for four decades and lived and worked in an intentional spiritual community for 22 years. In the spring of 2004, David experienced a mystical awakening and began receiving regular telepathic communications from angels and enlightened spiritual beings, known as ascended masters.

David is currently writing his upcoming book about Saint Germain’s newest teachings on advanced alchemy.
His other publications include Now Zen and Always, a thought-provoking collection of quips and Zen koans from the Master Morya; and Mother Mary’s Missions–Messages from the Divine Mother, a series of HeartStreams received during David’s California Spanish missions tour. In addition to teaching for Meru University online, David leads prayer vigils and seminars and hosts conferences in person and online. He also conducts annual pilgrimages to sacred sites worldwide. David lives with his wife Mona near Livingston, Montana.
