The signing of the Declaration of Independence was a linchpin in the founding of our nation. In this course, we explore how our founding fathers were able, against insurmountable odds, to produce and sign this document. We talk about the personalities, creators, and writers behind it and why did they did what they did. We discuss the concept of inalienable rights and what the government of Great Britain did that was destructive of those rights. We delve into some of the spiritual truths behind what happened, and how what happened in 1776 compares to what is happening in our country today.
